Allen Zerumsky, 61, passed peacefully at his home on July 27, 2019.
At his request, no service will be held. In Allen's memory, his ashes will be scattered in Colorado and at the North Carolina coast.
Allen was born in Bitburg, Germany on May 12, 1958 to Adolph George Zerumsky, Jr. and Brigitte Zimmer Zerumsky. He spent the first four years of his childhood with his mother's family in Trier, Germany and had many wonderful memories of that time.
He loved the sea and the mountains. His passion for free diving, surfing, and fishing led him to spend time in Wilmington, NC, while his love of climbing and snow skiing precipitated his move to Colorado.
Allen is survived by his brother, Andrew Zerumsky; his sister and her husband, Birgit and Jerome Burchard; his niece, Jennifer FitzGibbon; his partner in life, Jana Bramble; his stepchildren, William Bramble, Heather Bramble, and Jesse Bramble; and his beloved granddaughters, Savannah Bramble and Sophia Bramble.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brigitte Zerumsky; and his infant son, Alden Zerumsky.
He will be forever missed.
