Andreas Bocardo Raynard Darden,19 of Cary, NC passed away on October 15, 2020.
Andreas was born in Durham, North Carolina on March 22, 2001 to Bocardo Raynard Darden and Kristiana Bennett. Andreas was a 2019 graduate of Riverside High School in Durham. Andreas will be remembered by many for his love of music and basketball. He was an avid Duke fan. He was also very fond of online games, fashion and being well groomed.
Andreas was affectionately called "Junior or Dre" by his paternal grandmother and close relatives and friends. Andreas leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Bocardo R. Darden of Durham, NC. His mother, Kristiana Bennett of Cary, NC. His paternal grandmother, Sheila Durham of Clayton, NC. A paternal Grandfather-in-kind, Vernon J. Bowens. Paternal Great-Grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Richard E. Hines of Hopewell, VA. Five Aunts, Shelida Barrett of Pikeville, NC, Kim Bennett of Lawrenceville, NJ, Alyse Spafford of Forked River, NJ, Brooke Lawrence of Wake Forest, NC and Barbara Daniels of Cary, NC. One uncle, Borencio R. Darden of Miami FL., a special 1st cousin, Sheliah Bizzell, his girlfriend Kait Boncaro of Murphy, a host of Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles, cousins and friends.
Andreas was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bobby Ray Darden and maternal grandmother, Renee Bennett.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC 27549. Participants are asked to wear masks and follow social-distancing.
