Ann Mead

Ann McLin Mead, 69, of Manson, NC, passed away in Durham on Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 30, 1951 a daughter of the late John and Doris (Jones) McLin. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother John.

Ann was a school teacher for many years in the Norfolk area before she retired as IT Director at Tidewater Community College. She enjoyed many outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, loved horses and dog shows.

Ann is survived by her husband of 44 years, John D. Mead; her siblings: William McLin and Alice McLin; and two nephews and one niece.

Arrangements are under the care of First Cremation Society 804 N. Bickett Blvd Louisburg, NC 27549.
