One of my first memories of Mrs. Pavlic (and the rest of the Pavlic clan) was in the early sixties in southern California. It was the 4th of July and the Pavlics invited our family to celebrate with them. Mr. Pavlic had these cool beer toppers you could slide on your beer can--Dad (Ken Wheeler) was impressed! Of course football was on. Mrs. Pavlic had a very new baby in the crib. My brother was just barely a toddler. Mr. Pavlic took care of the fireworks later in the evening. Good times! Fast forward to the 1970's, our families reunited in Colorado Springs, CO. Same company (probably a different name by now). We had already moved there when Mr. Pavlic knocked on our door to surprise mom--the company had also transferred Mr. Pavlic to Colorado Springs. More moves were in the cards for both our families but we all mostly settled in North Carolina. My best thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Pavlic. I hope you are winning at bingo every time up there!
