Bruce Eric Johnson, 79, of Henrico, NC passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was born on January 6, 1943 to Mr. Earl Johnson and Mrs. Violet Mercer Johnson.
Bruce was a 30 year Navy Veteran, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was lovingly known as "The Plant Guy" around Lake Gaston for his years of volunteer service.
He is survived by his loving wife Lavetta A Johnson; his daughter Robyn Johnson (Eric Purcell) of Sonoma CA; his son Ty Johnson (Angela Johnson) of Midlothian VA; two grandsons Chase & Collin Johnson and extended family.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to First Cremation Society of Louisburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Duke Cancer Center in Durham NC.
