Carl Baker

Carl H. Baker, 62, of Franklinton, NC, formerly of Clay, NY passed away on August 17, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, son Mitchell C. Baker (Erin) of PA, daughter Dr. Courtney J. Barrett (Jeffery) of NC, grandchildren Reid and Maggie Baker and Landon Barrett. Sisters, Linda Canales of SC, Carol Ward of NY, & brother, Donald Baker of NY, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Carl retired from John Deere Company (Syracuse Depot) in 2010. He worked several part time jobs, with the last 5 yrs as building maintenance with Contemporary Personnel Service Employment Agency, Liverpool NY before moving to NC in 2018.

Carl enjoyed being involved in ABATE of NY, Oswego County Chapter, fishing and gardening.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Transitions Lifecare Hospice Raleigh, St Jude's Children's Hospital, or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

There will be no services at the family's request.
