Eleanore Brown

Eleanore J. Brown, 94, of Euclid, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born on Sunday, December 19, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edward and Julia Finkes.

She was a woman of many talents, and was known for her love of gardening (she had two green thumbs), sewing, bird watching and reading. Eleanore read hundreds of books a year, meticulously logging and rating them in her reading journal, which is quite a treasure! She had a great sense of humor and a jovial laugh that was entertaining in itself. She was a very strong person, whose determination and stubbornness helped get her through many difficulties.

Eleanore was preceded by first husband Henry Behum, second husband Eugene Brown and her son Carl (Margret) Behum. She is survived by her sons Clifford (Carol) Behum and James (Renee') Brown, her daughters Janet Behum-Rocha and Lenore (Jeff) Meiser, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A private ceremony will be held for close family and friends.
