Gail Burnett Brantley

June 18, 1943 – June 19, 2024

Knightdale, NC

The beautiful Gail Burnett Brantley passed away on June 19th, 2024. Born to Margurette Carol Burnett and Thomas Frederick Burnett on June 18th, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, she was a beacon of light and warmth to all of those she deeply loved.

Gail was a cherished member of the Burnett family; half-sister to Tammy (Randy) Tucker, Amelia Burnett, Charlotte (Michael) Hames, and Gordon Burnett.

In 2001, she married her beloved, the late Needham (Rudy) Brantley in a beautiful ceremony in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Gail's love extended to her two children, Lisa Fogelson of Knightdale, NC, and Sonja Vadney of Palm Bay, FL. She also had six grandchildren, John Staton, Joey Staton, Amanda (Steven) Corbett, George (Desiree) Vadney Jr, Leigha (Claudio) Arguello, and Casey Vadney, as well as ten great-grandchildren.

Gail was an avid card player, master of crossword puzzles, and graced many with her delicious skill for cooking. Gathering around her kitchen table for a luscious holiday meal is a treasured memory many will hold dear to their hearts.

Predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her granddaughter Casey, Gail’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her family and friends that loved her dearly.

Gail Burnett Brantley will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
