Harold Tacelli

Born September 30, 1939, in Boston, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly in Raleigh N.C. on February 23, 2022. He was the son of Harold and Helen Tacelli, and had two siblings, Mary, and Steven. Harry was married in 1960 to Janet Ralph and the couple would go on to have two wonderful children, Darlene, and Paul (dec. 2013). In 1959Harry joined the US Air Force and supported the Berlin Airlift, while being stationed in France, reaching the rank of Sergeant. Harry's love for planes, vehicles and machinery would serve him well, as we went on to become a machinist with Eastern Airlines and then Fed Ex until his retirement. Harry remarried in 1990 to Kathy Paulsen (div. 2012) and moved to Raleigh, NC in 2007 finally saying goodbye to the New England winters, but not his friends.

Harry loved jokes, traveling, collecting, sunny beaches, ice cream and ice-cold beer while shooting pool with his buddies. More than anything he loved his daughter Darlene, her husband Michael and his three grandchildren Corinne, Samantha, and Daniel, by whom he is survived. He never missed an opportunity to spend a holiday or celebrate a birthday with his family. He was truly loved by all and will be dearly missed. We toast to him forever - Ymmm that's good!
