Greg and I are grateful for the times we got to share with Mr. Harry. We loved him very much and we're going to miss him...from his stubbornness to his sense of humor, but we know he is at peace now. We are saying prayers for his entire family.

Harry was my step dad and remained a father figure to me for almost 30 years. He introduced me to aviation, aerodynamics and fed my interest for all things that go fast. His attention to detail and ability to build things into its best possible version are traits that I use daily to succeed in life. From flounder fishing in the carolina sound, to riding horses together, to my first time flying in an airplane, or taking me to my first Nascar race in Charlotte, the memories he provided over the years will stay with me forever. Prayers for those of us who grieve his passing and let us celebrate that he is no longer suffering. Blue skies and tailwinds, Harry. Godspeed. May you forever rest in peace. 🙏

TO MY DEAR BROTHER You came into this life with your purpose unknown - you touched a lot of lives, and a lot of good seeds were sewn. I bragged to others there was nothing you couldn't do, with your creative mind, your skillful hands, and using any kind of tool. With the skills and knowledge, you shared; you carved out career paths for others that you weren't even aware. When needed by others, so often you lent a helping hand - you were just that kind of man. When I needed a temporary home; you did not hesitate and offered your own. You said to me, you are my sister and with me of course you can stay - and as a result we grew closer day by day. So much more we learned about each other - thanks to you my dear brother. I'm so grateful to your friends who you treasured so much - they lifted you up and provided a crutch. Difficult as it may have been, there was nothing they would not do for their friend. Bless all those good people who stood by your side; and thank you for the love and care for my brother you did provide. You kept telling me you were dying; but I couldn't accept it and I was only denying - begging you to please keep trying. I was being selfish I know, but I didn't want to let my dear brother go. More great memories with you I wanted to make and the feelings of great loss I could not shake. I did not want your life to end because that would be losing my dear brother and my friend. You never met a stranger - your personality and jokes were quite a game changer. If someone was down and having a dreadful day, you made it better in your own unique way. You'd tell the same jokes your family and friends have heard a thousand times before, but to strangers your jokes were amusing which only encouraged you more. Even while under hospice's care; the sadness of others you were aware for which you wanted to spare. Lying there in such agony indeed, while worrying about others and their needs. I asked, Harry do you want me to stay the night; you responded no which I questioned - it didn't seem right. In your withering voice, you explained you did not want to put me out - your concern for me was never in doubt. But your response was not what was best for you, but rather your concern for me I knew. I took a firm stand and I stayed by your side as I lay there in silence and cried. Piloting your plane was your true passion; you did it often and in true fashion. April 11, 2022, you took your last flight when you traveled towards the heavenly light. Enduring pain both day and night - for so long you put up a valiant fight. You struggled and did your best; but God decided it was time for you to rest. You passed away in a manner you would have chosen; surrounded by your girls and for a moment, time was frozen. Assurance of their love they whispered in your ear, providing you with comfort with their presence so near. Outpouring of the love each girl held in her heart; providing you comfort and peace before you depart. For you, your girls were a profound sense of pride and it's only fitting that the moment you passed, your first born was there by your side. Living without my brother will be hard to endure; but there is one thing of which, I'm sure. Through memories, your legacy will survive and as long as I have breath, I'll keep your memory alive. A world without you, we all must face; but so many memories we can all embrace - taking comfort in knowing you are in a better place. You were a great dancer and put on quite a few shows - trying to impress others as everyone knows. Before you passed, you wanted to have another dance; unfortunately, life robbed you of that final chance. Now you are in heaven and your breathing problems are over - so, kick up your heels in the fresh fields of clover. With your friends you'd go horseback riding when your body was strong, and your limbs were agile. You continued to ride until sickness took hold and your body became weak and fragile. Now you are in heaven with a body brand new and now there's nothing you can't do. So, hold on tight to the horse's mane, as you gallop through pastures of golden grain. -REST IN PEACE MY DEAR BROTHER. Love you always, Martha
