Uncle John was a ray of light, adding joy and laughter to the lives of everyone he met. To me, he was one of my favorite dance partners. From the time I was little he would go out of his way to put on a favorite song or seize the opportunity created by whatever silly kids song was on and boogie down with me. His carefree energy and infectious laugh made him such a joy to be around, and I will cherish the memories I have of him always.
This is the last great time I would spend with my fantastic brother in mid January. Along with our beautiful wives we had a wonderful lunch and lots of laughs on Shem Creek S.C. A better brother no one could have. I miss and love you very much, Doug
Some of my favorite memories together. A lady couldn't ask for a better brother in law. I am broken hearted.
Uncle John is one of the few people out there who could light up any room he walked into. His humor and personality could make anyone smile! He will be missed, but we'll always have so many great memories of him. Love, CJ
John was always soft-spoken when I saw him. He was not chatty, but when he did speak, he was worth listening to. John will be missed by many.
