I have never met anyone quite like Micky Rogers and probably will never meet anyone else like him. As rough and tough as he liked to act, he had a heart of gold!!!💛 He would do anything for someone he loved. He was my husband’s best friend and he could make him laugh like nobody else ever could! I’ll miss him deeply forever! Fly high my friend!!! We love you!!!💔💔💔

Mickey took me under his wing at Wake Finishing as a maintenance mechanic. We grew as friends and hung together after work. Mickey was a natural one of a kind real brother. Rest easy my dear friend.

I first met Mickey when I was about 10 or so, and we were coming home and there he was dressed in all black long hair on his motorcycle. My dad and Mickey became friends while working at Wake Finishing. Through the yrs as I got older I saw les and less of him, but when I did see him he always had a smile on his face and acted like no time had went by. Mickey you are truly going to be missed by many. You were definitely one of a kind. Rest easy you definitely deserve it.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Michael?
A: Mickey was and is one of the sweetest souls I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He would come by my office just to see me smile, which in turn made him smile. His grin and his laugh were all you ever needed to turn around a bad day. I will and do miss him, but I appreciate the extra guidance from above. Rest in Peace

I have only known Mickey for 3 years or so, but he was one of those rare souls that if you talked to him for 10 minutes, you felt like you'd known each other for your whole life. Rest easy brother, you'll be missed more than a lot that I have known far longer.

Micky, you were a great person, loved by so many. I will never forget the fun & funny times we shared. Your sense of humor caught me off guard, MANY times, as you know! I also remember you telling me.."My name is Micky, not Mickey....like Mickey Mouse!" when I would wear those Disney shirts.
Knowing you, we had to look past that "tuff guy" persona, and know that you had such a kind heart, and did many selfless things for friends & family.
I thank you for your friendship & will miss you always.
