Michelle Elizabeth (McManus) Alford, 56, of Kenly passed away peacefully in her home on April 7, 2024
Michelle is survived by her husband, Terry Alford; her mother, Joyce Mills; her father, Alvin McManus; her daughters, Alissa Alford and Leslie Lafferty (Bruce); her son, Nicholas Alford; and two granddaughters, Bethany and Ryleigh.
Michelle was born on October 30, 1967 in Chesterfield, S.C. to Alvin and Joyce McManus. Michelle's entire life revolved around her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being a memaw and loved her grandchildren dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Vision Church, 7369 US-301, Lucama NC.
"Tonight, she looks upon us while we look back with glee, through the way she's always lived and will continue through us. She's now with the family that has always been in her heart."
She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to First Cremation Society of Louisburg, NC.
