I've known Rachel since she was just a little thing, her and my daughter playing together in a play pen. Me babysitting her before she started kindergarten. After both of our families going in different directions we reconnected several years ago. Rachel had grown into a wonderful mother and wife and enjoyed talking to her on Facebook. Words cannot express my sadness for her daughters, husband, Brian and one my oldest friends her mother Kim and jerry. I pray you find peace with her passing. Linda Resh

Let me begin by saying It's hard to say the right things at the right times when all that you can say about what you are feeling is coming from what you saw while you were minding your own business and the results left you feeling speechless. I have known her husband Shane since we were in junior high and I cannot tell you all of the good things that he has become as a grown man and as a husband and father, mostly all of which were as a direct result of the love that she so freely gave to him. She was a truly remarkable woman and all of those who got the chance to be near the sunshine and warmth she provided to us - we will all be forever grateful that she cared so much about other people as to briefly smile their way, even if only to brighten up a moment in time that otherwise would someday surely have been forgotten. I won't ever forget how it came to be that we finally met because she and Shane were already married when we finally did meet that day. Shane had posted so many great pictures of his beautiful family by that time that you would often feel like you could name them all like old neighbors you had known for years. As I walked past the grocery cart - Bree looked up from the cart seat and smiled directly at me and I immediately knew from all of the photos I had seen from Shane a proud father and husband - who it was that was smiling that pretty little girl smile at me so I stopped them suddenly and said to Rachel I knew as we were passing each other that your little girl is Shane's little girl because she almost has her own photos page on the internet thanks to Shane. We laughed about it then as well as later on with her great sense of humor. I truly thank God for allowing me the opportunity to have known her. She truly will be missed. I'm still speechless. My sincerest condolences to all of the family, Michael Johnson
