Scott Kelly

Scott David Kelly, 41, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on December 26, 2021. He was born on May 10, 1980 to Ronald David Kelly and Teresa Demby Ward.

Left to cherish Scott's memory are his father and stepmother, Ron and Sherrie Kelly of Archer Lodge; his mother and stepfather, Teresa and Fred Ward of Raleigh; and his sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Brant Bush of Jacksonville, Florida.

Scott was a great baseball player and an incredible pitcher. He was a hard worker; he had a good heart and was very generous and caring and known for his sense of humor. Scott had found Jesus Christ as his savior, and he prayed for forgiveness. Scott had troubles in his past, but he never gave up and kept his dreams alive. He felt free and at peace when he was at the beach.
