Susan Gobble

Susan Wrede Gornto Gobble, 79, of Cary, NC passed away on November 6, 2022, after a long courageous battle with COPD.

Susan was born March 26, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas. She graduated from Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC, class of 1961. She studied and received a degree at Lowrance Hospital School of Nursing in Mooresville, NC.

She had a long career as a registered nurse at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. She was always so strong, helpful and a caregiver to all.

She enjoyed crafting, cooking, and socializing. She had a faithful servant's heart and loved her church family. She loved hymns and playing on the piano. Her love for her family, her "girls", and friends was immeasurable.

Susan was a loving wife, mother, and "Grana". She is survived by her daughters and son-in laws, Tammy and Scott Tudor, Lisa and Mike Gay, and Laurie and Randy Hirneisen; her grandchildren, James and Anna Tudor, Amber, Christopher and Bryson Gay, and Jeffrey and Ramley Hirneisen.
